Obituary For Michelle White "Mickey" Holmes

Mrs. Michelle White Holmes, more affectionately known as “Mickey,” was born February 27, 1965 to the late Mrs. Loretta Hutcherson White and the late Mr. Milton E. White, Sr. In Cleveland OH. Her early education was in the public schools of Cleveland and she graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. After high school she attended school and earned her degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was employed for many years at McKinley Life Care Center. During her young womanhood she married Mr. Gregory Allen Holmes. To this union two children were born, Helena and Desmon. After retirement from her job she enjoyed traveling, especially to Georgia, going to church, spending time with her children , grandchildren, and with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Michael White and Mark White. On Tuesday, December 10, 2019 the Lord sent his angles for Michelle. Her spirit took flight and went home to be at rest. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Helena (William) Giddens of Thomaston, GA and Mr. Desmon Holmes of Cleveland, OH; seven grandchildren, Tavonta White, Julia(Pete) McCrea, Jovante Davis, Akayla Ferrell, Timothy Ferrell, Jr., Desmon Holmes and Dai’sean Holmes; two great-grandchildren, Amyiah McCrea and Michael McCrea; one brother, Mr. Milton (Donna) White, Jr. of Cleveland, OH; aunts and uncle, Mrs. Gloria White of Miami, FL, Mrs. Delores White and Mr. Joe Hamilton both of Cleveland, OH; a very dear friend for fifty years, Ms. Cornella Blanchard of Cleveland, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Memorial Service were held Saturday, December 14, 2019 12:00 Noon George E. Trice Jr. Memoria Chapel
