Obituary For Ricky Weaver

Mr. Ricky Weaver was born June 12, 1964 to the late Mrs. Sarah Pauline Durham Weaver and the late Mr. Harvey Weaver, Sr. in Thomaston, Upson County, GA. His early education was in the Thomaston Public Schools and he graduated from Drake High School. At an early age, he joined the Midway Baptist Church. When he became a young man, like most men during his time, he went into the work field. He begins working at Keadle Lumber Company and doing construction work. He attended Flint River Technical School and earn several certificates. He later found work as a manager at Walmart, Pizza Hut, and McDonald’s. also spent some time at Standard Textiles and Upson Regional Medical Center. Ricky was a father and grandfather. He loved his children and always enjoyed spending time with them. During his leisure time, he enjoyed walking, drinking his sprites, watching basketball, watching old black and white movies, and spending time with his family and friends. On Monday, December 9, 2019, the Lord called him home to rest. His spirit took flight and went home to rest. He leaves to cherish his memory three children; Shundreka Weaver of Newnan,GA, Whitney Weaver, of Altamonte, FL and Daryll Weaver of Jonesboro, GA; sisters include Ms. Mary Weaver and Sarah Weaver both of Thomaston, GA; brothers, Mr. Kelly (Elisie) Durham of the Salem Community, Willie James Durham, Harvey (Dorothy) Weaver, Jr. and Mr. Willie Floyd Weaver all of Thomaston, GA; other sisters and brother, Ms. Berilyn Clark of Molena, GA, Mrs. Lisa Maines Bogan Wilkins of Concord, GA and Mr. Jeff Maines of Concord, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Memorial Service were held Saturday, December 14, 2019 2:00 P.M. George E. Trice Jr. Memorial Chapel
