Obituary For Clara Mai Tyus

Clara MaiTyus passed away December 17, 2019 at her daughter's home in Franklin, Tennessee at the age 91. She was born in Williamson County, Tennessee, to the parents of the late Charlie and Lavenia Lavender.

Clara leaves those behind to cherish her many memories her devoted daughters, Dorothy (James )Bonds and Sara Caldwell; son, Robert Tyus; grandchildren, Alonzo Hughes Jr., Cherise (Sheldon) Elliot, Angie (Ben) Robertson and James (TT) Bonds, III; great grandchildren, Victory Hughes and Tristan Elliott; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Mrs. Tyus will lie in state from 1 until 5 on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Waters Funeral Home. Visitation with family, Monday, December 23, 2019 from 11:00 until 12:00 at Lynn Creek Tabernacle, 117 Fairground Street, Franklin, Tennessee, with funeral to began at 12 Noon. Pastor Kevin Riggs, officiating , Elder Devon Johnson, eulogist.

Interment Thursday, December 26. 2019 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery
