She also loved to cook and enjoyed and loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James “Mote” Johnson; two sons, Richard McCombs and Timothy Hunt; sisters, Ruby Headen, Doretha McCombs, Easdale Toms and Christine Jackson and one brother, Jay. H. McCombs.

I will always remember when I was trying to make it through serving God in Righteousness, my grandmother would call and edify me for hours just to keep me walking in the straight and narrow. I know you are with the Lord. I was so happy to be able to spend 2 days (5 hours each day) with you and nothing can ever make me to forget that I was blessed with the most praying, enduring, lasting, teaching/preaching, strongest Grandmother that heaven has to offer. Sorrow had no place for the joy and peace of knowing an Angel stepped into her eternal home... RIH... Power

My prayers are with all Aunt Ann’s children, grand children and the entire family. She treated me to musical tapes that helped me make it through school and during tough times. I remember long trips to the mountains headed to Western Carolina listening and praying my little car would make it. Blessings
