"Life's race well run, Life's work well done; Life's crown well won, And now he rests." The Rev. Dr. James Melvin Proctor, was a dedicated Christian leader in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, who had a vigorous intellect, sustained by lofty purposes. He never hesitated to speak truth to power, and help any worthy cause. The Rev. Dr. James Melvin Proctor will be highly missed."Servant of God, well done. Thy glorious warfares past. The battle's fought, the race is won. And thou are crowned at last." My prayers are with his family and many loving friends that they or we may find peace during this difficult time. I am wishing you peace and comfort. Prayerfully submitted, Rev. Dr. Willie D. Young Orlando,Florida
