Obituary For Manuel Carl McKenzie

Manuel Carl McKenzie was born on March 15, 1942 in Tifton, Georgia to the late Manuel and Smithie McKenzie.

Carl spent his early years in Tifton, Georgia and later relocated to Fort Pierce, FL. While in Fort Pierce, he met and married Evelyn Williams and had four children: Tony, Tandra, Gwendolyn, and Manuel Jr. Carl worked in the fruit industry for 25 years where he retired from Gracewood Inc.

He was a committed member of Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Robert Lawrence and continued to serve under the current pastor, Rev. Roszon Lawrence until his health failed him.

On December 22, 2019, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Carl answered the call of the Father and went on to be with Him and his loved ones who have gone on.

Those left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife of 60 years, Evelyn Williams McKenzie; children, Tandra Ragin, Gwendolyn McKenzie, and Manuel(Patrisia)McKenzie; siblings, Nettie Martin, Artessie(Joseph)Waight, Miller McKenzie; grandchildren, Kimberly Williams, Manuel McKenzie III, Monique McKenzie, Terrance taylor, Parrish McKenzie, Aaliyah Ragin, Amir McKenzie, Kanija Royster, and Carl McKenzie; eight great-grandchildren; special daughter, Librisa Murphy; god-daughter, Debra(Bobby)Ball, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Pierce, FL from 3 - 7p.m.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Carl McKenzie will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce.
