Mr. Walter Crews, age 78, of Warren County, North Carolina departed this life on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Snow Hill Baptist church in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend King Perry, Pastor will officiate and burial will follow at church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories; his wife of fifty years, Louise H. Crews; two sons, Walter Crews, Jr. of Norlina, North Carolina and John Wayne Crews of Warrenton, North Carolina; three daughters, Stacey Crews Henderson (Cameron), Kimberly J. Hendricks (William), and Felicia A. Kearney (John) all of Warrenton, North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren; and a very special granddaughter, Priscilla A, Hargrove which he raised as his very own; eighteen great grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Street of Durham, North Carolina; one brother, Roy L.. crews (Gracie) of Wise, North Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Lou Ethel Watson, Lillie Hargrove, Gwendolyn Crews, and Fannie Durham; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The body will view at the funeral home on Sunday, December 29, 2019 starting at 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date by Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.
