Johnny Eugene Dunlap, son of the late Johnny Dunlap and Myra Maxwell-Dunlap was born December 29, 1968 in Quitman, Georgia. He grew up in Quitman, Georgia and was educated at the Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring, Georgia. He graduated in May 1989. Johnny was baptized at Shumate Street Church of Christ on August 21, 1998 and was a current member of First Atlanta Baptist Church’s Deaf Ministry. He was currently employed at H D Supply Facility Maintenance for 15 years in Industrial Machine Maintenance.

Johnny was preceded in death by Johnny Dunlap, Ernestine Seay and Mary Dunlap.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his Mother, Myra Maxwell-Dunlap, Quitman, GA; his Son, Kenneth Dale, Valdosta, GA; Kenneth’s Mother, Rosalind Brown-Thaggard, Fayetteville, NC; Brothers, Jacky Maxwell (Adrienne), Macungie, PA, Rufus Dunlap (Barbara),Quitman, GA and Carl Gaskins, Sr., West Palm Beach, FL; Sister, Arlene Olive (David), Stone Mountain, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service for Mr. Johnny Dunlap will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shumate Street Church of Christ, Quitman, Georgia. Burial: Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Quitman, Georgia. Family visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2019 from 5:00-6:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel Professional Services entrusted to Blankumsee, Thomas & Wright Funeral Services of Quitman, Georgia.
