Obituary For Pastor Sarah Pearl Dixon

Pastor Sarah Pearl Dixon was born to the late James and Pastor Susie Whitfield-Brooks on December 19, 1955, in Choctaw County, Alabama. In 1965 she was called to administer the teachings of Jesus Christ after receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. In August of 1999, God called her to carry out his master plan for Faith Temple Full Gospel Holiness Church. A mission to take the full gospel to the city of Grand Bay, AL. Pastor Sarah Pearl Dixon accepted the call.

She departed this life Christmas Morning, December 25, 2019 at her residence in Grand Bay, AL.

She leaves to cherish her legacy, three children: Winslow (Morgan) Richardson of Gainesville, FL, Winchell Richardson of Atlanta, GA, and Jamell (Katrina R.) Richardson of Grand Bay, AL; a brother, Johnny (Mary Ann) Brooks of Meridian, MS; four granddaughters, Tatiana Richardson, Amaya Richardson, Naima Richardson, and Jordyn Richardson; future daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Shekinah Graham and Teagan Richardson; four nieces, April Kersh, La’Keela McNeil, Aquila Loyd, and Johnitha Kersh; four aunts, Florean Thomas, Louella Williams, Christine Thomas, and Diane Thomas; three uncles, Willie Thomas, Andrew Thomas, and Jessie Williams; adopted sister, Jennifer Brooks; best friend, Essie Moorer; church, Faith Temple Full Gospel Holiness Church and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at New Beginning Ministries at 12050 Homestead in Grand Bay, Alabama. The viewing will be one hour prior to the services.

Interment will at 12:00 noon, Sunday, January 5, 2020 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery on County Line Road 46 in Lipson, Alabama.
