Augusta , GA—Ms. Luvenia Gilmore entered into rest Monday, December 30, 2019.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Good Samaritan Baptist Church, 1556 Maple Street. The remains will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.

Ms Lu was an incredible woman who lived in the same building with me in Killeen, Tx. She kept it real with you. She could be so funny and have you laughing so hard you couldn't breathe. She was fierce. She didn't take any crap from anyone. And if she loved you, she loved you hard. She shared stories, food, wisdom and so much more. I will forever miss her. And I'm so blessed to have known her
