She attended William Penn High School and was employed at Cunningham Brickyard, Quincey Steakhouse, Biscuitville and Molly Maids.
Virginia loved to dance and spend time with her family and friends. She was a loving and caring person. She was a hip-hop grandma; the grandkids adored her and vowed to be like her when they grew up.
Those left to cherish her memories are four daughters, Patricia (Stacy) Tabon, Linda (James) Nelson, Beverly (Bobby) Gainey and Cathey Gainey; one sister, Izora Peguese; one brother, Robert Little; seven grandchildren, Demetrius, Bronson, Naketa, Sapperia, Tamez Gainey, Bianica and Chasity Nelson; nineteen great grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren; a special friend, Anthony Fields and two special nieces, Tina Breeze and Evelyn McConnel and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
