Obituary For Mr. Bobby Lee Thomas

Celebration of Life for Mr. Bobby Lee Thomas 71, of Unadilla GA will be held Friday January 10,2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church,Unadilla. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Public Viewing will be held Thursday .Wake Services will be held Thursday January 9, 2020 from 5:PM to 6:PM. at Coes Funeral Home.Final rites have been entrusted to Coes Funeral Home, Unadilla.

Mr. Bobby Lee Thomas, the son of the late Willie Lee Thomas and Lula Mae Chaney Thomas was born in Unadilla (Dooly County), GA. He departed this life on Saturday, January 4th 2020 peacefully at home. Mr. Thomas accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Unadilla, GA. He was educated in the Dooly County School System. He joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school. After four years of service, he joined the United States Navy Reserve. Bobby worked as a long-distance truck driver. He also drove charter buses until his health began to decline.

To Cherish his loving memories, leaves behind three loving children. One daughter, Mia Thomas of Douglasville, GA; two sons, Michael Whitehead of Atlanta, GA and Alex Thomas of Peachtree City, GA; 14 grandchildren, Jeremiah Mitchell, Amaya Mitchell, Mia Edwards, Vanessa Edwards, Michael Tremayne Whitehead II, Markel Whitehead, Miles Whitehead, Michaela Whitehead, Phoenix Michael Whitehead, Alexandria Elaine Thomas, Jaylen Thomas, Addison Thomas, Alex Thomas, Jr., and Xyrius Thomas. Three siblings; Betty Ervin, Joyce Thomas, and James Tony (Rosa) Thomas of Unadilla, GA. Two aunts; Loretta Chaney of Philadelphia, PA and Thelma Thomas of New Jersey. One great-great aunt, Louise Watkins of Perry, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
