Williston, SC - Miss. Hattie Mae Howard entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital, Augusta, GA.

Services In Loving Memory of Miss Hattie Mae Howard will be conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Simmons Funeral Home of Williston, Inc. & Cremation Services Chapel. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 am until the hour of service.

Miss Hattie Mae Howard was born on May 12, 1949 in Barnwell County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Chappell Howard and the late Eddie Pearl Syphett Howard. At an early age Hattie joined the Shrub Branch Baptist Church. She attended Kelly Edward School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Terry Ann Howard Russell and Dorothy Mae Lindburger. Hattie is survived by; two daughters, Jennifer Michelle (Robert) Ross, Jr. and Patricia Lashawn Banks all of Hampton, VA; four siblings, Valentine (Marvin) Wagner, Sr. of Roosevelt, NY, Margie Thorton and Russell Howard, both of Williston, SC and Evelyn Howard of Barnwell, SC; four grandchildren; Christopher Cedric Barrett, Jr., Christina Nashawn Barrett, Christopher Cedric III and Jamal Marcreast Barrett all of Hampton, VA.; three great grandchildren; Zyair Princeton Barrett, Zykhari Barrett and Tyquis Agape Barrett all of Hampton, VA a special friend; Charles Richard Banks Jr., of Beckley, West VA, a host of other relatives and friends.
