Ms. Mattie Harris, 94, departed this life on Wednesday, January 08, 2020 at Madison Health and Rehab Center in Madison, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2020 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 847 Fifth Street, Madison, Georgia, Reverend Janice McCray, Eulogist.

Visitation hours will be Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 12:00-5:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M.; Bernard's, The Madison Chapel.

I took time to talk with Ms Mattie Pearl while volunteering with Harvest of the heart delivering fresh vegetables in the community. She was full of wisdom and kind. We talked about Burney Street and the changes that had come among many other things.She is now in a well deserved rest. Well done Mrs. Mattie Pearl. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
