Obituary For Dorothy Carmen Maynard

If I should go tomorrow It would never be goodbye, For I have left my heart with you, So don't you ever cry. The love that's deep within me, Shall reach you from the stars, You'll feel it from the heavens, And it will heal the scars.

Ms. Dorothy Carmen Maynard, age 55, of 131 Loblolly Drive in Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her mother, Mary Lyons Maynard; one sister, Phyllis Maynard; two brothers, Winston Maynard and Claude Maynard; a niece, Stephanie Tabourn; a nephew, Douglas Maynard; a great niece, Balie Hawkins; and a great nephew, Maximus Tabourn; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A beautiful Angel here on Earth gone. Dorothy was a sweet person and dear to many. She will be forever missed. She took care my mother when she was sick. I will be forever thankful for knowing such a beautiful person. My prayers go out to her family. The Alston Family and The Rudd Family

Dorothy as you know I admired you for the love you showed your mother...you actually made me a better son to mine....thank you for all the times we shared....I always had a friend that would listen....you were closer than a sister to me....you truly will be missed
