MRS. MARY LEE HEARD TAYLOR – AGE 80, - Of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 with her family at her bedside. She was born on December 18, 1939 in Athens, Georgia to her late parents Robert and Irene Turner Heard. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Taylor, daughter, Pamela Renee Taylor, sons, Ray Anthony “Buster” Taylor, and John Leonard “Slim” Taylor.

Survivors are her loving children, Mary Ida (Michael) Worthy, Causie Lee Taylor, Priscilla Henderson; one sister, Bernice Marie Watkins, brothers, John Ed (Pat) Heard, Alfredo (Sandra) Heard, and Thomas (Jean) Heard; two devoted grandchildren, MarShun and LaKisha; five loving grandchildren, Kenneth Lamar Caddell, Maurice Daniels, LaKisha Hughes, MarShun Henderson, Ashley Taylor, Demetre Taylor; eleven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lela Flemings, Earlene Henderson; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia 30736 with Pastor Edward Ellis and Rev. Jimmy Ingram as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the church Friday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 P. M. Interment, Ringgold Community Cemetery.
