To the Perkins Family We are sorry to hear about the recent passing of Claude Perkins Jr. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family. May these brief remarks serves as words of comfort for everyone. God is the source of the following remarks. As the scriptures shows, He is a God of tender mercy and comfort.(2 Corinthians 1:3-4) So on this day He takes the time to share these comforting words to all those who are grieving at heart over the lost of a love one or friend. So directing your attention to the sacred writing, please take note of this wonderful promise that God is making known to all. He tells us that soon a call will go out to those in the grave, and that our love ones will hear that calling, and stand up in life again.(John 5:28-29) Yes what a loving promise that truly is. From this one promise alone, God is giving us His personal guarantee that Claude, and billions of others who have died will have their lives restored back to them. From this promise God is telling us that life can be restored, because He is the source of all creative life.(Psalm 36:9) In the future the age old question will be firmly answered, that even if a person dies, He can live again.(Job 14:14-15) Until that arrangement takes, God has preserved nine accounts in the scriptures that speaks about the resurrection blessings from God. Here is just one example that the family and friends of Claude can draw further comfort from. It is recorded at John 1:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how the verses apply to your love ones or friends. So please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise it always becomes reality. For God does not lie.(Titus 1:2)
