Obituary For Brenda Ann Jones

A Time To Be Born On June 25, 1965, a beautiful baby girl was born to the late Mr. Albert Sallis and the late Mrs. Dorothy Bell Robinson Sallis of Sallis, MS. This beautiful baby girl was named Brenda Ann Sallis. Brenda graduated from McAdams High School in 1984. She also attended Holmes Community College. Brenda accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at St. James Church First Born Deliverance Ministry in Durant, MS under the leadership of Elder James L. Riley. After many years of marriage and worshiping in two locations, Brenda decided to join Greater New Jericho M.B. Church to be alongside her husband. Brenda was a faithful member to both congregations and would work relentlessly to ensure that things were beautifully decorated for church events.

A Time To Love Sister Brenda Ann was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Charles Edward Jones on June 25, 1988. To this union one daughter was born Ms. Diner Leigh Keona Jones. Brenda also had the joy of rearing her two nieces Bridget Erving of Madison, MS and Uneida Erving of Jackson, MS.

A Time To Laugh Simply fun-loving by nature and jovial. Brenda gained pleasure by spending quality time with her family and friends. She was always supportive and loving to all that she met. Among her greatest joys were spending time with God, quality time with her husband, enjoying mother & daughter outings with her baby girl, spending time with her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and her extended family. Brenda also found joy in utilizing her God-given talent by using her hands to make beautiful flower arrangements, decorate for weddings and other special occasions and so much more.

A Time To Die A true Saint and woman of God who touched the lives of so many on Saturday, January 11, 2020 around 8:30 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala Center, answered the call of the "Devine Timekeeper." Brenda Ann was peacefully called home to be with the Lord. She finished her race and now she's enjoying her reserved crown of righteousness that only God can give. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Albert Sallis, her maternal and paternal grandparents, six brothers and six sisters.
