He leaves cherished memories to his wife, Mrs. Pearline Watts Medley and his precious baby girl, Miracle who was being raised in the home; three sons, Maurice (Vicky) Medley of Silver Spring, MD, Ronnie (Joyce) Medley of New Bern, NC and Johnny M. Medley, Jr. of High Point, NC; four daughters, Johnnie Mae Medley, Dehavia Medley of High Point, NC, Trinette Ezerette of Hampton, VA and Kim Medley of California; three stepsons, Jeffrey Medley, Patrick Medley and Derrick Medley of High Point, NC; one stepdaughter, Pamela Coleman of California; one brother, Eugene Watson of Monroe, NC; one sister, Elaine Tanner of Monroe, NC; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at United House of Grace and Mercy, 1309 Leonard Ave. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. and other times at 1010 Creekside Dr.
