Clarence a.k.a C-money, From the moment I met you we were friends. You were my bestie, my confidant, my big brother, who never changed up on me. We shared alot of laughs, life stories ,You had so much wisdom ,faith and a strong love for God and your family. Clarence to have a friend like you was a honor.I was devastated when you told me you were sick . As sick as you were you never lost faith that God would cover you.In fact you weren't worried bout it at all. You said to me "if you think aboutit, its a win-win situation bc to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." It's those words that give me peace, strength and the comfort in knowing that you're ok . You will forever be missed. Your friend- Keshia ❤Truck In Peace ❤

Losing someone you love leaves a unfillable hole in one's heart. Clarence and my brother Michael were the best of friends and because of their friendship I considered Clarence my big brother. I remember him and my brother Michael allowing me to tag along with them a few times. It was special. I remember Clarence as a soft spoken person who always cared about how others felt. He would take care of others before he took care of himself. At times like these, there are truly no words. However, I take comfort knowing that he is with our Almighty God and we will see him again in the other side of glory. To the Battle family I pray that God grants you a Peace that Surpasses All Understanding. Lean on him and he will see you through this season of loss. David Williams

Family lets love one another and live right so we can see Candy again.

Willy, Wow and Wow, I just want to Thank God for Being God. Clarence and I had a wonderful short but long lasting relationship.. He came into my life at an opportune time where I needed a Godly Wrapped Saint To welcome me back into the Rocky Mount area.. Clarence showed himself friendly. I had the pleasure of seeing his clever humorous side. He made me LOL... He was a Kind and gentle man, with integrity. He was generous, and most of all, he Loved The Lord with all his heart. I will truly miss our family couples dinner, I will miss our outings to the movies and every other eatery in town, and for this dear God I am grateful... I Give God All The Glory for these BEAUTIFUL, BLESSED Memories made in his image. I Love You TOODALOO Your Future Sis N Luv Rita Mozell Carter

Papa, you will surely be missed by me and your other four “heartbeats” (grandkids). I never imagined I’d be writing this so soon; however, I am grateful for the time that we were able to share playing video games, card games, arcade games (lots of games lol), going to the movies, and traveling. You taught me a lot and I’ll always have those lessons to remember you by. I’ll be sure to teach Chy, Kylei’, Cody, and little Journee what you taught me. Thank you for showing all unconditional love. You fought a good fight and now it’s time for you to rest. We miss you. Love always - Khalia

Clarence there are no words that I can say to express how I feel and the sadness in my heart. I thought of you as my brother and growing up as kids we were just that,as adults we went our different directions but never forgetting our friendship no matter the distance and the time. May God bless and keep you, your friend Michael Williams

It seems like time stood still for years and although I was a little girl when I knew you, I have fond memories of you and my brother Michael as you both grew into manhood. May God comfort the loved ones you leave behind on this Earth as the Angels and our Lord welcome you home to eternal glory. Your Eagle will forever soar as you fly among the Heavenly hosts of angels. Say hello to my parents and brother. Eternal joy in Heaven. Lula Williams Wallace a.k.a. Cooky

Clarence was my friend, he was such a man after Gods on heart. We spent time eating out, eating in my house and enjoying each others company. We were married for 29 years and he was a great provider. I will never forget the life we shared together. We had a lot in comma, I remember when we use to kneel down and pray the anointing of God was so strong he would shake the entire bed. He was a gentle man and a great father for my children. He would give me his last. Thank you Lord for not letting him suffer long with his illness. "Rest Clarence I will see you in the morning". We have some good memories of you. Thank you for a life filled with righteousness. We had our good days and we had our bad days and we had some hills to climb. But God got the victory our of your life. You were a great man of God, thank you Lord for Clarence. Elder Wilhelmina Battle
