God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So, He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, Your hard-working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Mrs. Barbara Hinton, age 72, of 120 Norlina Pines Drive Apt. 104 departed this life on Friday, January 24, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Locust Grove Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina (Wise, North Carolina Community) Reverend Kenneth Alexander, will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at church cemetery.

Those left to cherish precious memories are two daughters; Sharlene and Odessa Hinton, both of Norlina, NC; Two sons Antony (Tara) Hinton of Warrenton, NC and Jerry Hinton of Norlina, NC; and a nephew she raised as her own son Keith (Klarissa) Barnes; her grandchildren Danyel, Brandon, Steven, Tony, Antony Jr., Antionette, Dequante, George, Asha and Wanya, Fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Ivory (Lisa) Hinton of Henrico Co., Va; One sister Effie Hinton of Upper Marlboro MD.; One sister-in-law, Linda Hinton of Henderson NC; two aunts Florence and Lucille Hinton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, devoted neighbors, and friends. 

The body will be on view at the funeral home on Thursday, January 30, 2020 starting at 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.
