Johnny Ray Ford was born on March 5, 1956 to Fleety Bell Lewis and Frank Richardson in the Red Bluff Community. Johnny graduated from Loris High School in 1974. After graduation he attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College majoring in Business Administration. He then later joined the United States Air Force and served five years. He later joined Ashley Baptist Church in Summerville, SC where he served as a trustee and was also a member of Lodge New Eden 329. He was employed at the United States Air Force Department of Defense as an automotive operator.

Viewing and visitation for Mr. Johnny Ford will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at United Funeral Home in the D. L. Grate Memorial Chapel from 4 PM- 7 PM.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020 at McNeil Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 400 McNeil Chapel Rd. Longs, SC 29568, at 2 PM. Dr. Cassandra Tutt-Williams, pastor of Ashley Baptist Church of Summerville, SC, will be the eulogist.
