Graveside services for Mrs. Helen McWhorter, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, 3:00 PM in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 2284 Candler Road, Decatur.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edith Williams and David Filmore; husbands, Herbert James and James McWhorter; a son, Harold James; and a granddaughter, Ebony Cameron.

She is survived by her children, Judy (Charles) Cameron, Gerald James, Gail (Sumpter) Bettis, Debbie (Ricky Gooden) James, Sandra James, Stanley James, Donna (Gregory) Mitchell, and William (Pam) James and several grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by loving siblings, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
