Lillie Mae (Doll) Denson Coney (80) was born in Sycamore (Turner County), Georgia on October 10, 1939. She was the beloved daughter of the late Henry Denson, Sr. and the late Lillie Kate Caldwell Denson. On January 28, 2020, she departed this life and entered into eternal rest.

Doll, as she was affectionately called, confessed and accepted The Lord, Jesus Christ as her savior at an early age. She joined Mt. She remained a faithful member until she was called from labor to receive her just reward.

Doll received her education at Tift Industrial schools. Doll enjoyed sewing, alterations, cultivating her yards, planting vegetables, traveling and spending time with her family. She was a God-fearing woman and loved everyone around her.

On January 25, 1958, Doll was joined in holy matrimony to the late Robert Thomas (Nick) Coney. To this union four girls were born.

Doll leaves to cherish her precious memories four devoted daughters: Sherry (Mark) Wilson of Braselton, Georgia; Deborah McCaa of Jacksonville, Florida; Anita Coney of Warner Robins, Georgia and Michele Coney of Albany, Georgia. To the family of Mother Coney, I pray for your strength during this journey. I first meet her by way of her daughter Sherrie , I remember Mother for her sweet and loving spirit. I will truly miss my sister, best friend and cruise partner. Everytime I planned a cruise she was there, before I retired from work I would call her early in the morning leaving home and she would talk me to work, this was 3 or 4 days a week, I miss you. Sherry, Deborah, Anita and Michele you had a great mom who loved her family deeply, remember her laughter and words of encouragement she gave you over the years, I'm here for you if you need me for anything with love, auntie Louise.
