EUNICE - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Word Ministries Church, 1960 W. Laurel Ave., Eunice, LA for Mr. Clarence Chapman, 82, who entered eternal rest on Friday, January 24, 2020 at his residence in Eunice, LA. Interment will be in St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery in Chataignier, LA. Elder Johnathan Clayton will be officiating the funeral service. Mr. Chapman was a member of C.H. Mason Church of God In Christ in Eunice, LA. Mr. Chapman’s memories are being cherished by: his wife, Vera Jean Chapman of Eunice, LA; three sons, Clarence Lynn Chapman and David Lee Chapman, both of Eunice, LA and Fredrick Chapman (Monique) of Arlington, TX; five brothers, Lawrence Chapman, Roger Chapman, Clifton Chapman, Bobby Chapman and Freddie Lee Chapman, all of Eunice, LA; one sister, Regina Bertrand of Eunice, LA; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Azia and Edna Fontenot Chapman; one brother, Morris Chapman; and one sister, Laura Kibedoux. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Word Ministries Church.
