Obituary For Mother Dorothy Draughan Little

As the Angelic Host rejoices with the arrival of another anointed woman of God, those who remain to endure have heavy hearts and indescribable sadness as a result of this tremendous loss. Mother Dorothy Little, 85, of Whitakers, NC gently laid her head in the Master’s arms and went to sleep in Paradise on January 29, 2020 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her devoted husband, children and family.

The family has reserved Saturday, February 01, 2020 for friends and family to come and pay their respects during a visitation that is to be held 5 pm - 7 pm in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

Celebration of Life events will conclude with a Home Going Celebration, 2 pm Sunday, February 02, 2020 in the sanctuary of the Zion Cross Baptist Church 14919 Watson Seed Farm Rd, Whitakers, NC 27891 where she served faithful as Deaconess, Mother and any position that her hands was assigned to.

Mother Little earthen remains will be laid to rest on Monday, February 03, 2020 at 12 noon in the Gardens of Gethsemane.
