With determination to provide genuine comfort during this difficult moment in a family’s life, S. Jones F. and C. has been charged with the solemn duty to advise all that Mr. Elton Ray Johnson, 59, of Tarboro, NC has transitioned from this life into life eternal as of January 26, 2020 at Vidant Edgecombe Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, February 08, 2020 in the sanctuary of the Holy Temple Holy Church, 709 E Wilson St, Tarboro, NC 27886. His body will lie in state one hour prior to the service for a public visitation.

Interment will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
