Obituary For Otis McCloud, Jr.

Mr. Otis McCloud, Jr., age 41, of 1929 Lickskillet Road in Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, February 3, 2020 at his residence.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish; his favorite cousins more like brothers he never had: Willis Williams III (Shayna) of Henderson, Nc, Frederick “Dwayne” Cheek of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Randall “Ran Ran” Edwards of Raleigh, NC, and Alonzo “Big Al” Fogg of Warrenton, NC. Also left behind to cherish his memories are several cousins which he grew up with; Rose Williams, Michael Williams, Rochelle Hendricks, Brad Williams, Trent Williams, and Melanie Williams all from Warrenton, NC, Joshua Williams of Elizabeth City, NC, Emmanuel Williams (Shanita) and Ebony Fogg, all from Henderson, NC Deborah Clifton, Garner, NC; three uncles, Sheldon Williams (Christine), Melvin Williams (Rosa Lee), Brad Williams all of Warrenton, NC, and Thurman Johnson of Louisburg, NC; three aunts, Joan Williams of Warrenton, NC, Elizabeth Gee, and Tiny Gee, both of Trenton, NJ; five great aunts, Annie Cheek (who loved Sonny as if he were her own), Ada Cheek, Carrie Davis, and Carrie Parrish, all of Warrenton, NC, Emma Stokes of Louisburg, NC; two great uncles, James E. Baker of Warrenton, NC and Eugene Johnson Jr of Philadelphia, PA. Otis Jr. also had two cousins who were very close to his father, Louis Stokes and Roy Gene Stokes.

There will be no public viewing for Otis McCloud, Jr.

I remember Otis and his cousins being packed in his mother's car coming to Spring Green Baptist Church when they were children. My husband and I extend our sympathy to the family. Mildred and Mason Williams.
