To the Neely Family I would like to take this time to express my personal condolences to the family of Ozell Neely. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this time of great sorrow. Again our enemy death has taken another person that was truly special to many.(1 Corinthians 15:25) All today can be truly happy in knowing that God will not continue to allow this enemy death to have the mastery over us. In fact God has taken the time to reveal two wonderful promises that His earthly family will soon benefit from. Those promises are reveal right in the pages of the Bible. In the first promise, God states that He would soon rid the earth of all things that causes pain and suffering.(Revelation 21:4-5) Just imagine, soon we will live during a time period when no person will ever get sick, grow old and then die. I personally look forward to this time period. However there is still another promise that God wants all to know about. This promise provides blessings to ourselves, and to our departed love ones. Again here is this comforting promise from God. HE tells us that soon a calling would be made to those In the grave. And that our departed love ones would hear that calling and stand up in life again.(John 5:28-29) God wants all to have a clear understanding of this promise. From this one text, God is giving all grieving hearts His personal guarantee that Ozell, and billions of people from around the world will have their lives restored back to them. That Ozell and others will surely be reunited with their many family members and friends whom they left behind. Yes what a wonderful promise this truly is. Only God, who is the source of all creative life can make such a promise, and then to carry such a promise out to its end.(Psalm 36:9) Then to help all grieving hearts to develop strong faith in this promise, God has taken the time to preserve nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection blessing that is near at hand. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how the verses apply to Ozell, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from the deep sleep of death. So may all please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that we have God's personal promise. Yes it is impossible for God to lie.(Titus 1:2)
