Albert Lee Cabiness of Syracuse, New York formerly of Henry County, VA went to rest in his Heavenly home on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. He was born on June 24, 1956 to Ethelena Cabiness and the late George Cabiness. Along with his father his was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Henry Cabiness and a sister, Abbie Z Rucker.

Albert was a graduated of Laurel Park High School. After High School he went on to serve our country in U S Army. He was a fun and loving person to all who met him. He worked as a handyman until he became sick.

Along with his mother those who will miss him greatly are his three daughters, Laura Myers of Martinsville, VA, Sherletta “Peaches” Adams of Detroit, Mi and Nira Irby of Syracuse, NY and two sons, Albert Cabiness and Aijalon Glen both from Syracuse, NY. ; three sisters, Phoebia Carter, Catherleen Dillard and Frances Kissee all of Axton, VA; and two brothers, George Cabiness of Buffalo, NY; and James Cabiness of Reynoldsburg, OH; two aunts Pearlie Carter and Lelia Lieteau; grandchildren, Jamika Wilson, Sheenai White, Azaria Wilson, Jeriyah Hairston, Rihann Myers, Ayanna Cabiness, and Albert Cabiness; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Morning Star Holy Church. Visitation is at the home of his sister, Frances Kissee, 316 Inge Martinsville, VA.
