Obituary For Clinton Green

Clinton Wilbur Green “Clint”, 63, of Emerald St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at home. He was born in Harrisburg, son of the late Reverend Sterling C. Green, Sr. and Ethel Baltimore Green Tromp, a 1975 graduate of Harrisburg High School, retired from Hershey Foods and the Harrisburg Housing Authority. Clint was a member of Martin Luther King Baptist Church, where his father was the founder and former pastor. He was a loving brother, strong uncle, a supportive friend and a deep thinker. In his leisure, he would often sit on his front porch watching over the neighborhood, contemplating on life, but nothing in life brought him more joy than his daughter and granddaughters whom he loved very much. “Clint” leaves to celebrate his life, his daughter, Vera (Tia) Green; his two granddaughters, Shontel and Jenessa Green; his brothers, Sterling C. Green, Jr., Bret Green (Mary), Bart Green, James N. Hymon, Jr. (Patricia), Dennis Tromp and Christopher Tromp; his sisters, Dr. Lavette R. Paige (Marcus), Jacqueline N. Maxie (Edward), Paula Tromp, Judith Narda Tromp and a host of other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Friday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Martin Luther King Baptist Church at 1243 S. 18TH Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104
