Obituary For Darlene Buie

Darlene M. Buie, 54, of North 16th St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Monday, February 17, 2020 in the peace and love of her home.

She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Alfonia and Ruby (Neloms) Buie, a 1984 graduate of Harrisburg High School and received her Business Certification from Thompson Institute Technical School, a former employee of the Commonwealth of PA & the Computer Company, was a dedicated employee of Capitol Blue Cross for over 25 years and presently an employee of Gaudenzia, Inc.

Darlene was a member of Covenant Design Ministries COGIC and in her leisure, she enjoyed caring for her plants, shopping, cooking and spending quality time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley A. Buie and leaves to celebrate her life, her son, Antoine D. Buie; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard L. and Tammy Buie and a host of other relatives and friends. Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2730 Booser Ave., Harrisburg with visitation 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Ministry of Comfort of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton.
