Mrs. Joan Nixon, of Warren County, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, North Carolina.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memories: seven children, Robert Doles Jr. (Rose) and Eric Doles both of Virginia, Diane Williams (Fred) of North Carolina, Kenneth Doles (Doreen) and Teresa Stewart (Malcolm) both of New York, Tamara Field of New York and Kelly Nixon of Virginia; twenty-nine along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be no public viewing.
