Mr. Edward Dean Meadows began life’s journey on Monday, March 5, 1956, to the parentage of Edward Cole and Jimmie Lou Meadows in Talladega, Alabama.
Mr. Meadows accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Cleveland Missionary Baptist Church. He received his education in the schools of Talladega County and was a graduate of Talladega County Training School. Edward was an employee of Newberry Foundry and a member of Labor Local #109.
On Wednesday, February 26, 2020, Edward began his eternal journey at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Edward Cole and Jimmie Lou Meadows; his grandparents, Henry and Hannah Mae Meadows; and his sister, Ivy Lee Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two special nieces, Tameka Meadows (Sedric Turner) and Telesha Meadows of Talladega, Alabama; a special great niece, Sedryana Turner of Talladega, Alabama; two special great nephews, Jadarius Darby and Jamori Meadows of Talladega, Alabama; five aunts, Willie Ann Meadows, Mary Lois Meadows and Margaret Williams of Talladega, Alabama, Peggy Meadows of Anniston, Alabama and Jewel Meadows of Talladega, Alabama; two uncles, Warren (Gwendolyn) Turner and Kenneth Duncan, Sr.; and a host of cousins and friends.
