Obituary For Evelyn Moore

Evelyn “Eve” Moss Moore was born on October 3, 1930 in Pelham, GA to the late Theodore and Everline Hill Moss. She died Monday, February 24, 2020 in Anderson, S.C. Mrs. Moore was married to the late Robert Lee “Whit” Moore.

Left to cherish her memories are seven sons, Robert L. (Vera) Stevenson of Charlotte, NC, Robert L. (Shelia) Moore, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, Stanley Moore of Wilson, NC, Ray Charles Stover of Washington, DC, Richard (Valerie) Moore of Anderson, SC, Phillip Moore of Pelzer, SC, and Michael Reddick of Pelham, GA; five daughters Gladys (Thurman) Battle of Bowie, MD, JoAnn (Willie) Stevenson of Columbia, SC, Tangie Willis of Plainfield, NJ, Hettie Smith of Heath Springs, SC, and Jennifer (Cecil) McCannon of Herndon, VA; three sisters, Rev. Christine (Horrace) Ross, Delores Robinson, and Helen Barnes; one brother, Eugene (Arnell) Moss; two brothers in-law, Keith (Vergie) Moore, and Shelly (Nelda) Robinson; three sisters in-law, Eva Moss, Rev. Margaret Stover, and Gerelene (Irvin) Womack. Twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Second Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Viewing will be Friday, 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
