CROWLEY - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 417 West 3rd Street, Crowley, LA for Ms. Shirley M. Henry, 84, who entered eternal rest on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery. Father Godwin Imoru, Pastor of St. Theresa Catholic Church, will be officiating the funeral mass. Ms. Henry leaves to cherish her memories: her four sons, Murray Henry (Tedine), Early Henry, III (Cheryl), Timothy Henry, Sr. and Frank Henry, all of Crowley, LA; her daughter, Shella Poullard (Marcal) of Morse, LA; one sister, Genevieve Foreman of Port Arthur, TX; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ms. Henry was preceded in death by: her parents, Curley and Celestine Lewis Woods, Sr.; two brothers, Mitchell Leonard and Curley Woods, Jr.; and six sisters, Maudry Clark, Yola Kibodeaux, Maude Jones, Julia Landry, Bernadette Handy and Beulah Woods. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 12:00 noon.
