Obituary For Sandra Marbuary

Ms. Sandra Faye Marbuary, daughter of the late Ernest T. Marbuary and Katie Walker Marbuary, was born on June 4, 1946 in Gadsden, Alabama. She graduated from Carver High School. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

She graduated from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Sandra worked at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia following graduation. She would later return to Gadsden and work at Baptist Hospital for several years. Later, Sandra joined Quality of Life Health services where she held several positions. She retired from Quality of Life in 2011. In 2017, Sandra relocated to Madison, Alabama. She quietly departed this life on February 26, 2020 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, Alabama.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Jacqueline Marbuary of Atlanta, Georgia, Bryan (Latisha) Marbuary of Madison, Alabama, and Jolanda Kindell of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandsons: Bryan Marbuary, II, Demetrius Lymon, and Adam Marbuary; brother, Kenneth (Evon) Marbuary of Gadsden, Alabama; niece, Tasha Marbuary; nephew, Jereme Marbuary; three great nieces and one great nephew; and a host of devoted cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be 1P.M. Tuesday March 3, 2020 at the Antioch Baptist Church Burial Lincoln Hill Memorial Park. Pastor Larry Weathers officiating Public Viewing will be on Monday March 2, 2020 5-7 PM at the Funeral home .

Ms. Sandra was a sweet lady and was always kind to me. I remember her spoiling her youngest daughter and I when I would come over to her home and visit. She treated me like her own. Rest easy Ms. Sandra. Godspeed. ~Sadie Renee
