Rev. Calvin Chaffin, 80 of Campbellsville died Monday, March 2, 2020 at Taylor Regional Hospital.

Rev. Chaffin was a native of Campbellsville, KY and the son of the late Elizabeth Graves Chafin and the Rev. Calvin Solomon Chaffin. He was employed by the City of Campbellsville and an ordained minister of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Chaffin and sisters, Juanita Graves Smith and Eunice Shears.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Imoginia Smith Poole (Curtis), Rosita Thompson, Leticia Smith Sanders (Anthony), George Smith, Shon Deveron Shears and Aiko Shears; a devoted nephew Brandon Drye (Marcella) and a devoted friend, Marion Owens.

Funeral service will be 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Union Church Cemetery.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 12 noon on Saturday, March 7, 2020 also at Pleasant Union Baptist Church.
