Obituary For Frankie Yevonne Armstrong

Frankie Yevonne Armstrong passed away February 29, 2020 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age 59. She was born in Maury County, Tennessee, to the parents of the late Ruth Lee Hall and Frank Armstrong.

Frankie leaves those behind to cherish her many memories her daughter, Zonyale Armstrong; son, Claudale Armstrong; grandchildren, Claudia Armstrong, Jerni Armstrong and Karma Jones; sisters, Frances "Cookie" (John) Polk and Dorothy Jean Armstrong; brothers; James Armstrong, Eddie Radley, Tracy Armstrong, Steven Radley and Leslie Armstrong; brother-in-law, Edward Poochie Claude; aunts, uncle a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Frankie will lie in state Friday, March 6, 2020 at Baxter Brothers Funeral Home, 1105 East End Street, Columbia Tennessee 38401 from1 until 5.

Visitation with family, Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 11:00 until 12:00 at Bellafant Tabernacle Church, 1607 Whatley Street, Columbia, Tennessee 38401, with funeral service to began at 12 Noon. Minister Norma Alexander , officiating, Pastor Acklin, eulogist. Interment Ezell Cemetery, Cornersville, Tennessee.

So sorry,I met Frankie atCosmolab. We worked on second shift for a short period of time.I would go to her house to pick her up and carry her to work She was really sweet and had a heart of gold.Praying for the family.

I worked with her at Cosmolab,for several years.She would bring me her knife she carried in her purse to sharpen it.One day after I sharpened it,i asked her who she was going to cut.She said Don Humphrey.She was one of a kind,and was pround be her friend. Alton Hill

I loved Frankie. I met her in 1984, at cosmolab, we worked for don bowden operating paint machine. We instantly bonded, we ate lunch together everyday. Evertime she seen me she hugged me and we laughed and talked. Frankie was a great lady and loved everyone. She will be missed, prayers for the family, and for mr campbell, her companion. I met Frankie when I moved to Lewisburg in 1984. We connected instantly, she gave me a nick name to my already nick name lol. I will be known to her as Bodie. Great personality, beautiful smile,loved to laugh and Loved her family. "Now you know we cousins bodie" she said each time I saw her.
