Obituary

Mr. Linwood Earl Ellis was born in Pitt County, NC on December 24, 1958 to Mrs. Ellouise Ellis Jenkins. He exchanged life on earth for eternity on February 29, 2020.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one niece.

Linwood leaves cherished memories to his wife, Mrs. Ruth Ellis of Marshville, NC; his mother, Mrs. Ellouise Ellis Jenkins of Wilson, NC; one son, Mr. Linwood E. Ellis, Jr. (Cherez) of Wilson, NC; one stepson Mr. Marcus Tyson (Che’rie) of Monroe, NC; one sister, Ms. Lorann Ellis of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Mr. Johnny Ellis of Wilson, NC; 3 granddaughters; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

God Saw You Getting Tired God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, “come to me.”

You didn’t deserve what you went through, So He gave you rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.

And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain I could not wish you back To suffer that again.
