Obituary For Luticia McClary

Luticia "Lu" Mobley McClary, 76, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020. She was born October 22, 1943 in Lancaster County South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Luevenia Witherspoon-Mobley. She was married to the late Robert McClary, Jr.

Survivors are three children, Kerra McClary of Lancaster, SC, Keisha (Derrick) Ray of Fort Worth, TX and Letavious Robert McClary of Yonkers, NY; five grandchildren, Catisha (Larry) O' Rear, Kenneth McClary, Melissa McClary, Christina Ray, Shenia Ray, and Letavious McClary; one great - grandchild, Caleb O' Rear; three sisters, Peggy (Henry) Fletcher of Waxhaw, N.C., Claudia Polk and Carrie (Kenneth) Mobley-Johnson both of Bronx, N.Y.; one brother, William Mobley of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two aunts, Ruth Waldon of Silver Springs, Md. and Mable L. Witherspoon of Washington, D.C.; one uncle, Clarence Witherspoon of Van Wyck, S.C.

Funeral Service will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. at White Oak AME Zion Church by Reverend Diana M. Charles and Reverend Timothy Mobley with burial in the church cemetery.

Viewing will be Thursday, 2:00 -6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

My sincerity's prays and sympathy to each of you in your time of the loss of your mother, sister, grandmother/great grandmother, etc. Luticia grew up as family with the Lewises of Taylors, and a part of the St. Mark UMC in Taylors, SC. We will miss her joyous laughter and since of humor and love of all people she met on a daily basis. May she Rest In Peace and the arms of God as HE greets her with open arms.
