Michael Lee Mathis, 62, of South 26th St., Harrisburg transition into eternal life on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital. He was born in New York, NY, the son of Harvey Lee Mathis and Thelma Richardson Mathis, was an employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for over 29 years. Michael leaves to celebrate his life; his wife, Carol Glover Mathis; his daughter, Lottie Denise Lee Mathis; his stepson, Shaun Glover; his father, Harvey Lee Mathis; his mother, Thelma Mathis; his brothers, Harvey Lee Mathis and Kevin Lee Mathis; his sister, Deider Lee Mathis; his two sisters-in-law and a host nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Friday, March 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton.
