Bobbie Jean Chester - Ross, 69, of Palatka, FL was born on Friday, January 5, 1951 to Thomas Brook, Sr., & Clara Bailey in Palatka, FL. She was educated in the Putnam County School District. Bobbie Jean was affiliated with God’s Manna Ministries of Palatka, FL. She was known as a person of love and gave it to others. Bobbie was devoted to her family and a mother to all.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie Jean Ross was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Woodrow Ross; daughter, Kalandra Shingles; son, Izely Crowley; brother, John Henry Chester; sister, Cleola Cox; great-granddaughter, Makia Meebims; step father, Sonny Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her many memories; son, Joseph Bush; daughters, Paula (Carl) Jackson, and Izella (Mitchell) Crowley; sister, Henri Ann Israel; brother, Eddie Lee Bailey, Thomas (Beverly) Brooks, Jr., Oliver Wilson; aunt, Marie Brooks; 16 grandchildren; 28 great – grandchildren; Special Friend, Artis, and Kathy Hill; God daughter, Kiesha Miller; and host of extended family; William Singleton children; nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing community.

Viewing will be 6:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. Friday, March 13, 2020 at The Church of the Kingdom of God, Rev. Shelton Morris, Pastor. The Homegoing Celebration will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at The Church of the Kingdom of God. Pastor Leo A. Parker, Emerge Church of Palatka, is the eulogist. The Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Palatka, FL.
