Deaconess Yvonne Gloria Saunders Parson, 76, wife of Deacon Purdy Parson, died Sunday, March 8, 2020 at McLeod Hospice House, Florence, SC. She was born November 20, 1943 in Harlem, NY, a daughter of the late Bernard S. Saunders and Louise Richardson Saunders.

Funeral services for Mrs. Parson will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, 1130 Granby Lane, Summerton, SC. Rev. Dr. W. T. Johnson, Pastor, officiating; Rev. Carlson Thompson, Elder George Jackson and Minister Ernestine Oliver, assisting. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at her residence, 7047 Alex Harvin Hwy., Summerton, SC.
