Obituary For Yvonne Parson

Deaconess Yvonne Gloria Saunders Parson, 76, wife of Deacon Purdy Parson, died Sunday, March 8, 2020 at McLeod Hospice House, Florence, SC. She was born November 20, 1943 in Harlem, NY, a daughter of the late Bernard S. Saunders and Louise Richardson Saunders.

Funeral services for Mrs. Parson will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, 1130 Granby Lane, Summerton, SC. Rev. Dr. W. T. Johnson, Pastor, officiating; Rev. Carlson Thompson, Elder George Jackson and Minister Ernestine Oliver, assisting. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at her residence, 7047 Alex Harvin Hwy., Summerton, SC.

I will never forget your encouragement, your love, your smile and your huge heart! I remembered the last time I saw you in church, you tapped me on my shoulder and said "hey beautiful". I turned around and cried because I got to see you and hug you. You said "are you ok?" I said yes ma'am . And as always I got "That's my girl". I will forever miss you hun! Love you dearly.
