Mr. Robert Youngblood, 74, of 1663 Riverdale Drive, Rock Hill, SC passed away on March 10, 2020 at White Oak Manor, Rock Hill, SC.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Funeral Home Chapel.

My name is Kaye and I was one of the overnight aides for Mr Youngblood who I affectionately called "Brother Youngblood" which usually made him smile. We had a couple laughs before and after his health began to decline, one of my favorite was when I would tell him it's his turn to make us breakfast seeing as I was his "sister and we had to take turns. I would asked for grits and gravy , biscuits and sausage. He would tell me I didn't need all of that I was fat enough and all I l needed was a bowl of cereal. I would laugh so hard that realized how much cooking that was . I was off the day he graduated and crossed over and I'm literally in shock, I won't cry however because I remember him in a happy way and I will miss him . Thank you family for allowing me and my coworkers the opportunity to care for Robert , he certainly made my commitment to care easier and my compassion deeper . May the loving arms of our Savior provide a substantial amount of comfort in this moment.
