Obituary For Mr. Jessie James Lucas Sr.

Mr. Jessie James Lucas Sr. 54 ,of Vienna GA entered into eternal rest on Monday March 9, 2020.

Graveside Services for Mr. Jessie James Lucas Sr. of Vienna will be held Saturday March 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Unadilla .Public Visitation will be held Friday March 20 from 3-6 p.m. Final rites have been entrusted to Coes Funeral Home, Unadilla

Mr. Jessie James Lucas , Sr. was born on March 7th 1966 to the parentage of the late Mr. Roosevelt Lucas, Sr. and Mrs. Pearlie Mae Rush Lucas. As a child, he received his early education in the public school system of Dooly County. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Lilly, GA. Jessie enjoyed farming and racing. He favorite football team was the Atlanta Falcons. On March 9th 2020 he said goodbye to this life and transitioned from labor to reward. He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Roosevelt Lucas, Sr. and his sister Ms. Gloria Gean Lucas who was also a member of the Turkey Creek Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother Pearlie Mae Lucas of Pinehurst, GA; three devoted daughters, Laquandra Daniels of Vienna, GA and Jalisa (Kerry) Daniels of Unadilla, GA and Tabasha Taylor of Newnan, GA; two devoted sons, Jessie Lucas Jr. and Delvechio Daniels both of Vienna, GA; three grandchildren, DeAwvian Thomas, Jaziyah Mathis, and Amirah Daniels; Four loving sisters, Mrs. Minnie (Roosevelt) Daniels and Mrs. Carolyn (Kelvin) Cobb both of Vienna, GA, Mrs. JoAnn Lucas of Carrolton, GA, and Ms. Dorothy (Anthony) Lucas of Pinehurst, GA; five devoted brothers, Mr. Roosevelt (Gloria) Lucas of Vienna, GA, Mr. Anthony (Rosa) Lucas of Cordele, GA, Mr. Bobby (Rhonda) Lucas of Montezuma, GA, Mr. Willie (Tammy) Lucas of Vienna, GA, and Mr. William Lucas of Pinehurst, GA. One loving aunt, Ms. Mary Jane Lucas of Atlanta, GA. Very close and special friends including Mr. Irvin Young, Ms. Tonya Royal, and Ms. Nessie Hamilton, and Ms. Crystal Clark of Vienna, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
