Uncle Horace was a jack of many trades. If He could not fix it and resolve your situation, there was a good chance that he knew someone who could.the thing that I loved about Uncle Horace is that he had no problem with helping people if he could. Rest In Heaven Uncle. Dr. Joe

Horace, when I was a child, you represented security, fun (thanks for bringing Christmas!) and a bit of teasing. (I'm sorry I attacked you that time you called me ferocious.) As we grew older, you were great to talk to because you were open to new ideas and you expressed such amazement at the world. I know that Elva thought of you as a true brother, and you were a beloved uncle to our children. I will always smile when I think of you. Love to you and all the family. Our hearts are with you today and always. Katy (aka Squeaky), Elva Jr., Jazlyn and Jahnathan Williams

Our Sympathy and Condolences to the Family and Friends of Horace W. Gillison III To Wife Barbara, To Daughter Alyce, To Sons Horace Jr. and Antonio, To Extended Family and Friends, Last Friday afternoon began a time of sorrow and grief for those who received the news that our dear brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend had departed this life on earth. Immediately we understood that our time with him would be no more and we would miss the togetherness that we had shared with him for many years I want to let you in on a bit of real good news and that is while we were looking forward to our next conversation with Horace there came another, who sticks closer than a brother, relative, or friend and that is Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus Christ has met Horace with a much greater message telling him that his trials and sufferings are now over. Horace knew at that moment that this was the offer that he could not refuse, so he's left this earth with no regrets. Horace also knew that all of his loved ones whom he's left behind have the same great opportunity of one day being called by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And, in that wonderful Home going, we will see him again and when we do there will be great joy unspeakable. To all my brothers, sisters, family and friends know that today, God's word, a message of encouragement for each of us: 2 Peter 3:8-9 "But, beloved do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." Always Your Brother & Sister, Tommy & Susan

Wow Uncle Puff. You snuck off on me. I am so glad we got to spend that last family game night together. My final memories of you will be filled with laughter, Fritos and watching you change the rules of the games at every turn. Lol. We laughed about the time you set my back yard on fire during an experiment on a raggedy car. Lol. I stood in the spot after I heard you had left. Thank you for the words of encouragment, the love and the laughter. Keep heaven warm for us - Chelle

He was so fun. He kept our cars running! Very wise kept you debating with yourself, even when he knew you were right. He was committed to keeping his responsibilities. His last thoughts were of his children..he wanted a legacy..God honored that. I love my big brother and will make sure family game day continues.
