Funeral services will be held Saturday March 21, 2020 at 11 A.M. Magnolia Baptist Church and Cemetery, Avera GA.
Ms. Lockhart was a native of Jefferson County but lived in New York for many years. She was a member of the Garden of Prayer Cathedral where she worked faithfully in the Soup Kitchen. She retired from Bronx New York School System. Annie returned to Jefferson in Sept. 2011.
Survivors include one daughter, Tarsha Harrison Bronx, New York; one grandson, Darshawn "Matthew" Harrison, Bronx, New York that she reared as her own; two grandchildren, Dajsha Stone and Latrell Stone, New York; great grandchildren; her sister, Mattie Tremble, Stapleton, GA; several nephews and nieces including her caretaker, Elizabeth Terrell, Avera, GA, cousins and other relatives and friends.
