Obituary For Maggie Pearl Greene Hardaway

Mrs. Maggie Pearl Greene Hardaway, age 90, of Raleigh, NC (Formerly of Warren County, NC) departed this life on Friday, March 13 ,2020 at her residence.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, March 20, 2020 at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon, North Carolina. Reverend Charles Walton, Pastor will officiate and deliver the eulogy.

Left to cherish her memory are: brothers, Henry H. Greene (Clarice) of Warrenton, North Carolina, and Richard H. Greene (Ann) of Macon, North Carolina; sisters Mattie B. Greene of Macon, North Carolina, Lizzie Octavia Byrum of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Viola Elizabeth Rushing, Bronx New York; sister-in-law, Ina Hardaway, Pensacola Florida; thirteen nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

There will be no public viewing for Mrs. Maggie Pearl Greene Hardaway.

It would be hard to find someone as gracious and kind as Maggie in today's world. I was blessed to be a part of her extended family for many years after moving to Georgia. My prayers are with the family and I know that Maggie is very happy to be Home. Vanessa Ceasar

Maggie was such a sweet lady. It's interesting that we're both from Macon, but only knew each other as residents at The Gardens T Wakefield. We will certainly miss her and her wonderful caregivers.
