The Obituary
Ms. Vinetta Waker was born in Etowah County on August 5, 1955 to Eva Belle Ragland-Mixon and Lee Collins Waker Jr.
She confessed her life to Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Attalla, Al.
She rededicated her life to Christ at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastorage of Pastor Keith Dudley.
She departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2020.
Vinetta was preceded in death by her m other, Eva Belle Ragland-Mixon. Father; lee Collins Waker Jr. Her grandmother, Carrie Mae Collier. Her grandparents; Lucille & LC Waker. Grandfather; Fulton Ragland. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her loving & devoted son, Wayne Waker. Her two, God sent daughters, Angela Waker (Jackie) and Angelina Waker ( Lajonnte). Brothers: Audre Waker, Darryl Waker, Eric Waker, Anthony Waker, Lee Waker and Lynn Waker. Sister; Andrea Waker. Nine grandchildren, Four Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and the whole City of Attalla.
Memorial services for Ms. Vinetta Waker will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020 1 o’clock in the afternoon at the Friendship Baptist Church Pastor; Reverend Earl Dudley, officiating. Directing; West Gadsden Funeral Home.
